I have always struggled to find a healthy workout regime to keep myself in shape mentally and physically, especially as a college student. When I discovered ID fitness, it was life changing. For the first time in my life I feel like I no longer struggle with body dysmorphia and finally love who I am physically and mentally.”
Before coming to ID Fitness my exercise was fueled by guilt and obsession. I had no balance and was constantly overtraining in order to reach a certain body type. When I came to ID Fitness I was able to figure out my goals and priorities. I no longer wanted to obsess and be controlled by exercise. I now focus on simply leading a healthy lifestyle that’s balanced with tailored fit exercises AND rest. I work out less but I’m happier and healthier than ever!
ID Fitness has allowed me to obtain consistency in my weekly workouts under careful supervision and to significantly increase my core strength and balance as well as endurance. I am pleased with the efficiency and diversity of activities of the planned sessions tailored specifically to my personal needs. Periodic evaluations of my progress are also helpful in gauging the effectiveness of the selected regimen.
I have been overweight my entire life and in February 2019 I made the decision that enough was enough and I was going to get healthy before I turned 40. In March, I started working with CJ on my eating habits and in July joined ID Fitness to round out my journey with working out. My weekly programming at ID Fitness is customized for me and my personal goals. I had two main goals when I started at ID Fitness: to get out of danger of diabetes and other health issues and to strengthen my right knee, which I hurt in college. Both of which I have accomplished through my overall fitness journey, which includes working out at ID Fitness twice a week. The personal attention, customized programming, and overall encouragement from those at ID Fitness is an integral part of reaching these goals. Since March, I have lost 60 lbs and still have five months before I turn 40.
ID Fitness has helped me grow in so many ways. I have matured as an athlete, a husband and most importantly as a Christ follower. The experience I have had at ID Fitness is like no other. It has been a learning curve, but I know for a fact I have been sharpened by being a part of this gym. When I first came to CJ, I could barely put my shoes on without back pain due to a previous injury, now I’m back to competition shape because of the programming and exercises. My training is now more efficient and effective, and I feel stronger than ever.
I have been at ID Fitness for almost 8 months. When I first came, my right leg was much weaker than my left. I had a Baker’s cyst a year before and it burst. I succumbed to my injury and did nothing, until I decided to try out ID Fitness. Within a few months working out with CJ I got stronger. Before coming to ID Fitness I could not use my right leg to walk up stairs and I could not perform a squat. I can do both of those movements now! Within my first 5 months I had gained 4lbs of muscle. I feel 100% better. I look forward to my workouts every week. I am 67 years old and want people to know that it is never too late to start working out!
