CJ McKinney

Owner/ Professional Fitness Coach


CJ was born and raised in Zion, IL, about an hour north of Chicago. He went to Northeast Mississippi Community College and then transferred to Ole Miss to finish up his Bachelors in Exercise Science in 2015.


“I have always been fascinated with how the body moves and how it detects pain. I recently reached over 10,000 hours coaching clients and now plan to coach coaches for 10,000 more! My favorite part about ID Fitness is how each client is built a fitness program based on their data and no one else’s.”

Ben Hammer

Head of Program Design

 

Ben is originally from Memphis, but has lived in Oxford for about 8 years now. He recently graduated from Ole Miss with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. Anyone who knows Ben knows he is both up for a challenge and willing to challenge others. All of that comes from a committment to excellence and a belief that we don’t actually know our own limits.

“I have been at ID Fitness for almost 8 months. When I first came, my right leg was much weaker than my left. I had a Baker’s cyst a year before and it burst. I  succumbed to my injury and did nothing, until I decided to try out ID Fitness. Within a few months working out with ID Fitness I got stronger. Before coming to ID Fitness, I could not use my right leg to walk up stairs and I could not perform a squat. I can do both of those movements now! Within my first 5 months I had gained 45 lbs of muscle. I feel 100% better. I look forward to my workouts every week.
